A first minute penalty signalled the way this game would turn out. Marty one ticket Harkin was upended and Calvin Mooney slotted home. Alan Nicholl made it 2 soon after scoring from Mooney's rebound.
Mooney finished well to make the score 3-0 at half time.
The second half was much the same. Mooney scored a cracker for his hat trick and then Loughery nabbed another from the spot soon after.
Harkin scored a fine goal to make it 6 and Mooney rounded off proceedings with his fourth and Newtowne's seventh. Newtowne replaced Blain Morrison, Calvin Mooney and Ryan Magee late on.
